These pictures were taken at Oshkosh in late July, 2006.

This is someone's Zentih 701 landing at Oshkosh.

You can see the flaperons that hang below the trailing edge of the wing and the leading edge slats on the wing.

They are like the leading edge slats on a Helio-Courier, but they are fixed in position. The slats in a Heilo-Courier move in and out of position.

The blue plane C-GECX is not a Zeith 701.

It is a Zenith 801, which is a 4 place larger and hevier version of the 701. This is Zenith Aircraft's factory demontrator plane.

This is a non-standard 701. It was built as a tail dragger, which is not the normal configuration, and is not recommended.
